Charles Faulkner is a distance education graduate student at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill studying Mass Communications and New Media. He is currently employed as congressional advisor to the U.S. Department of State handling the legislative portfolio for international security and arms control issues. He has several years of experience working as a legislative aide to former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay of Texas and to Representative Jim McCrery of Louisiana. Prior to his experience in the House of Representatives, Charles served as the appropriations committee clerk to the Virginia House of Delegates for the 2000 General Assembly. Charles is also a citizen-soldier, serving his country in the Air National Guard. Charles is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and the U.S. Naval War College. He enjoys history, politics, basketball, movies, and the Washington Redskins. Born in Australia, Charles was raised in Virginia, North Carolina, and Michigan. He resides in Alexandria, Virginia with his family.
